Mallorca hosts Real Betis at the Iberostar Estadi in a game from the first round of the 2021/22 season of La Liga. Stay with us and these online soccer predictions that win. Let’s go!

After just one season in Segunda, Mallorca successfully returned to La Liga. But the difficult thing for Los Piratas starts now – they must find a way to survive and avoid another relegation. It’s never an easy task, but it’s not an impossible one as well. It’s all about determination.

Luis Garcia is the head coach who brought Mallorca back to La Liga. The 47-years old head coach has the trust of his players, so he’s the right man to do the job in the upcoming campaign. Let’s see how competitive Mallorca can be against the top sides in Spain.

Because of their difficult financial situation, Mallorca took more players on loan than they bought. Players like Murilo de Souza, Alvaro Gimenez, Victor Mollejo, Marc Cardona, Amath Ndiaye and Koke Vegas all arrived at the Iberostar on loan. Cadiz’ Brian Olivan signed a contract as a free agent while Monaco’s Jordi Mboula and Velez Sarsfield’s Braian Cufre were the only players Mallorca paid a transfer fee for. Mboula is a right winger and he’s just 21-years old, while Cufre is usually playing as a left-back. He should bring some competition in Mallorca’s defense.

Some players had to leave Los Piratas, of course. Carlos Castro, Yannis Salibur, Sung-yueng Ki, Xisco Campos, Sergio Buenasaca, Igor Zlatanovic, Pablo Chavarria and Marc Pedraza all left the club as free agents.

Abdon Prats was one of Mallorca’s best players last season in Segunda. The striker scored 10 goals for Los Piratas and seriously helped them to get promoted again. The 28-years old striker is starting his fourth season in Mallorca and he’s a player the fans know very well. The level in La Liga is very different compared to Segunda, but the fans will hope he will be able to repeat his performances.

The 37-years old veteran midfielder Salva Sevilla is one of the most experienced players in Mallorca’s squad at the moment. He’s a player with tons of experience in La Liga, so you can be sure the club will count on him next season as well. He used to play for different teams such as Espanyol, Real Betis and Salamanca in the previous years. Despite playing like a midfielder, Salva scored 7 goals in Segunda last season.

In their last game Mallorca faced Cagliari at the Iberostar and achieved a 1-0 win against the Serie A team. It was just a friendly of course, but the positive result is giving the fans some bigger hope before the start of the new season.

Real Betis had a very good previous season and they finished 6th in La Liga. It was a debut campaign for the Chilean head coach Manuel Pellegrini who proved how good he is at this job. The former Real Madrid manager took control of Betis after a disappointing season and he took the team to a completely different level.

On the summer transfer market Real Betis signed three players on a free transfer. The club decided to keep Barcelona’s Juan Miranda and the 21-years old left-back signed a contract after his initial loan spell. Meanwhile Betis also signed Granada’s goalkeeper Rui Silva and Bordeaux’s right-back Youssouf Sabaly. It’s not really clear if the Andalusians are going to make any other moves on the market because Spanish clubs are in a really worrying financial situation at the moment. They barely have any money to sign new players, especially because of the COVID-19 pandemic. Real Betis are not an exception in this case.

At the same time Real Betis had the chance to cash out on one of their players and it happened. The Brazilian international Emerson Royal left the Benito Villamarin and signed a contract with Barcelona. Los Verdiblancos got 9 million euro for the South American right-back. Meanwhile Aissa Mandi moved to Villarreal while the goalkeeper Dani Martin signed a contract with Malaga. Emerson is surely going to be missed as he’s an energetic right-back who can make the difference.

During the pre-season Real Betis made an impressive performance and scored a 5-2 win against Serie A giants Roma. Five different players managed to score a goal against the Wolves. Rodri and Nabil Fekir put the ball in the net in the first half while Alex Moreno, Cristian Tello and Roberto Gonzalez finished the job in the second half.

There are some players we could call really decisive in Real Betis’ squad. Claudio Bravo remains one of the best goalkeepers in Spain while Victor Ruiz and Marc Bartra are key figures in defense. In midfield Los Verdiblancos rely on the creative genius of Sergio Canales and Nabil Fekir, and the work-rate of players such as William Carvalho and Andres Guardado. It’s really amazing that the club icon Joaquin continues to play for the team despite the fact he’s already 40-years old. He’s a true example for all young players – the way he care for himself and how he handles his body. In attack Borja Iglesias remains a key player for Real Betis as he scored 11 goals in La Liga last season.

The Mexican winger Diego Lainez remains one of the most exciting players in Real Betis’ squad. He’s just 21-years old, but he’s a player with incredible speed and technique. His dribbling ability allows him to beat players one on one and create free space. Lainez continues to grow, so his abilities are going to be extra important for Betis. He’s certainly a player who’s going to get better and better with each next year.

That’s the online soccer predictions that win for the La Liga fixture between Mallorca and Real Betis at the Iberostar Estadi. Mallorca are probably the underdogs here as they are newcomers in the league while Real Betis finished 5th last season. But La Liga is a really competitive league, so everything could happen here.
